Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026 · DREAM CRYSTAL Inc.
The short version. Dango Drop and Dango Skewer have no accounts, no sign-in, no ads and no tracking.
The only thing that leaves your device is your score and the nickname you choose, so that the in-game ranking can work. We never ask for your real name, your email or your age, and we do not store your IP address.
Who we are
DREAM CRYSTAL Inc. is a family in Japan making small games together. Dango Drop and Dango Skewer were designed and built as family projects. You can reach us at [email protected].
What stays on your device
Our games save a few things in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device, we cannot read it, and clearing your browser data deletes it.
- Your best score or sales figure
- Which shop items you own and have equipped, where the game offers shop items
- Whether sound is muted
- A random player ID, generated by your browser (a UUID — not linked to you or to any account)
- The nickname you typed, if you typed one
What is sent to our ranking server
When a game ends, the result is sent automatically so the ranking board can be built. That message contains exactly this and nothing more:
| Sent | What it is |
|---|---|
| Score | Your total sales in DG for that game |
| Nickname | The name you typed. If you never typed one, it is sent as Player |
| Player ID | The random ID above, so your own best score can replace your previous one instead of filling the board |
| Play statistics | How long the game lasted and gameplay totals such as clears or hits, shipments, misses, golden dango, and longest chain or combo. These are used only to spot scores that are not physically possible |
| Platform | Which site the game was opened from (for example our own site or a game portal) |
We keep one row per player per ranking period — your best result — rather than a history of every game you play.
What we never collect
- No real name, email address, postal address, phone number or date of birth
- No accounts and no passwords — there is nothing to sign in to
- No advertising, no advertising identifiers and no third-party analytics
- No cookies set by us
- No IP addresses. To stop one person flooding the board, our server briefly counts requests against a one-way salted hash of the connecting address. The address itself is never written down, and the counter deletes itself automatically
Nicknames are public
Your nickname appears on a leaderboard that anyone playing the game can see. Please do not use your real name, your school, or anything else you would not want a stranger to read. A word filter runs on our server, but no filter catches everything, which is why the nickname is optional in the first place.
Children
Our games are made for families and are meant to be safe for children to play. They ask for no personal information, and a child can play the whole game, including the ranking, without ever typing a name. If you are a parent and you would like an entry removed, write to us and we will remove it.
How long we keep things
- Best scores stay on the board for as long as the game runs
- The rate-limiting counters described above expire on their own within hours
- Submissions flagged as impossible are kept so we can review them
Removing your entry
Email [email protected] with the nickname and roughly when you played, and we will delete the entry. There is no self-service delete button, because there is no account for us to log you into.
Other services involved
- Cloudflare hosts this site and our ranking server, and processes ordinary request data to deliver pages and block attacks
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the game uses. As with any file loaded from another server, Google receives the request that fetches them
- Game portals. If you are playing one of our games embedded in another site, that site's own privacy policy also applies to your visit
Changes
If we ever start collecting something new — analytics or advertising, for example — we will update this page before that collection begins, not after.
